Welcome to song.so. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to disable any user account if, in our opinion, you have violated any provision of these Terms.

song.so offers various services for music promotion and fan engagement. We may update, change, or discontinue any aspect of our services at our sole discretion.

Subscription fees are charged according to your selected plan. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of your subscription period.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to our platform. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute your content in connection with providing our services.

You must not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.

5.1 No Guarantee of Results

song.so does not guarantee any specific economic, commercial, creative, or promotional results. In particular, no guarantees are made regarding streams, reach, sales, conversions, advertising performance, algorithmic placement, playlist inclusion, or audience growth.

All metrics, analytics, recommendations, and performance indicators provided by song.so are informational in nature and do not constitute a promise of success.

5.2 Third-Party Platforms and APIs

The services rely in part on third-party platforms, tools, APIs, and infrastructure, including but not limited to music streaming platforms, advertising platforms, analytics providers, hosting services, payment processors, CDNs, and ISPs.

song.so has no control over the availability, functionality, policies, or changes of such third-party services and assumes no liability for disruptions, limitations, suspensions, or changes caused by them.

5.3 Data Loss and Backups

While song.so implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, absolute data security cannot be guaranteed.

song.so shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data unless such loss is caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of song.so, and only to the extent that the user has taken appropriate and reasonable data backup measures.

5.4 User Configuration and Misuse

song.so shall not be liable for damages resulting from incorrect configuration, improper use, misuse, or failure to follow instructions, documentation, or best practices by the user or the user's representatives.

This includes, but is not limited to, incorrect tracking setups, invalid URLs, insufficient permissions, misconfigured advertising accounts, or unauthorized access caused by the user.

5.5 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, song.so's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the use of the services shall be limited to the total fees paid by the user to song.so in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply to liability arising from willful misconduct, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health.

5.6 Exclusion of Indirect and Consequential Damages

song.so shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, reputational damage, or anticipated savings, even if song.so has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5.7 No Legal, Tax, or Compliance Advice

The services provided by song.so do not constitute legal, tax, financial, or compliance advice.

The user is solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the services complies with all applicable laws, regulations, platform policies, and industry standards, including but not limited to data protection, advertising, and consumer protection laws.

5.8 Account Suspensions and Platform Sanctions

song.so shall not be liable for any suspension, restriction, limitation, or termination of user accounts by third-party platforms, including advertising platforms or streaming services, even if such actions occur in connection with or following the use of the services.

5.9 Beta, Experimental, and AI-Based Features

Features labeled as beta, experimental, preview, or similar are provided "as is" and without any warranties of availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

AI-based analyses, recommendations, and outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. They are intended as non-binding guidance only and do not replace the user's own review, judgment, or professional assessment.

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice, such as by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

song.so shall not be liable for any failure, delay, or disruption of services caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to:

• force majeure events
• acts of God
• power failures
• network or infrastructure outages
• failures of third-party service providers such as hosting providers, CDNs, ISPs, cloud services, payment providers, or other upstream providers

In such cases, no claims for damages, compensation, or reimbursement shall arise.

Active subscriptions may only be canceled in one of the following ways:

• via the Stripe customer portal accessible at https://song.so/settings?tab=membership
• or in written form by email to philipp@song.so

Cancellations made through other channels are not valid.

Refunds for active or partially used subscription periods are excluded. Upon cancellation, access to the services remains available until the end of the already paid billing period.
